Following the recent announcement of Orwell Truck and Van supporting the Maxxis British Motocross event at Blaxhall on July 16th, the Woodbridge and DMCC are now pleased to announce the return of the

Foxwood Ceramics Holeshot Award thanks to the continued support of local company Foxwood Ceramics.

Foxwood Ceramics based in Kesgrave near Ipswich are an established local family business offering an extensive and imaginative range of wall and floor tiles and bathrooms. The range includes Italian fine porcelain imported directly from the Edimax factory, ceramic, porcelain and glass tiles from Porcelanosa and natural stone products from Ca Pietra, Beltrami and Groundworks. Outdoor paving and patio products from Global Stone are also available. Foxwood Ceramics is owned by former motocross rider Matt Cottrell, who has long been a supporter of the Woodbridge Club and father of former European and British Championship rider James Cottrell.

Once again the Foxwood Ceramics Holeshot Award will help to increase the excitement of the most spectacle part of the race, the start. With forty of the best Motocross riders from the UK and Europe battling it out in both the MX1 and MX2 classes, the extra incentive of a Cash Prize is sure to increase the importance of the start for the riders. Also for the first time in 2017 the Holeshot Awards will be given to the all-new British 2-Stroke Championship races meaning that there will be six Awards handed out across the course of the races.

Speaking of behalf of the Woodbridge and DMCC, Richard Blyth mentioned that “It is great to be able to work with another local company such as Foxwood Ceramics for a third year. The Holeshot Award was a great success during the last two events for both the riders and the spectators and we hope that it will once again help increase the excitement for the crowd when the gate drops on July 16th at Blaxhall.”
